Choosing your Book Designer:
Book Design is not just about knowing how to design a nice looking cover... A professional book cover designer knows a great cover needs to say it all in one quick, really quick look. The title and image need to be seen as of one mind. The message needs to be compelling. Your reader needs to feel motivated and moved to buy your book.
Great covers have a magic, a balance and the right combination of elements that make it be seen and sell. The same can be said about designing the interior of the book, which needs a keen understanding and execution of flow and what is readable. It's not only a mathematical equation of font /size/ space/ margins/ format ... it's a love for and of the read.
The ability to create a dynamic cover is not only about extensive book designing experience but a combined knowledge of publishing, marketing, advertising, branding experiences and the ability to be in relatedness to what works to capture your target readers' attention and action to buy.

Some important things to consider for your book cover design:
Be sure the cover design makes a person want to pick up the book and buy it... and that booksellers will be proud to display it in their stores.
Be sure the full book design effectively conveys the authors' "voice" and style; that it appeals to its target reader and has a different and unique expression?
And be sure to pay attention to both the book cover design and interior formatting design. Remember, the back cover copy as well as the subject of your manuscript are equally as important as the final cover design. They are the cake to the design quality being the icing.
