Author Interviews
I’ve been looking for a way where authors can be seen and their story can be read and inspire others along the journey of becoming a published author… so I decided to publish a series of “written out author interviews” on my blog about authors who have published book(s).
Here is the link to the Word doc with the interview questions and format outlined. Please fill in your story after each question. I also request that you be mindful of your answers, as if what you submit is not inline with the questions your interview will not be posted. I’d like to keep a standardized look and feel so as not to have any one author interview stand out more than the next. That being said, please use the Word doc as your base and return the file by the enclosed email address to me as a doc and not any other file format.
This is an interview where you can share your story, your journey and engage us… excite us into your world.
There are 15 questions, some are quick and others will take more thinking and creative writing. Please feel free to add to any of the questions if they don’t quite fit you. There are however eight questions indicated in bold that will need to be answered for the interview to be posted. I reserve the right to edit for length, grammar/spelling as necessary and determine what will actually post to the blog.
Things to Remember, Do and Send:
- This is a share not a sell and write appropriately to the share.
- There is one link allowed to your website or book sales page or other related page of your choice.
- We also request two images, one of you and one of your book, please be sure they are no larger than 5×7 and 72dpi jpg files. If you do not want to share an author image that is fine.
- There is a space for the wild question of your choice… one I didn’t ask.
- We suggest you set up a Google Alert for your name and your book title so you’ll see when the interview is published, as we will not be able to notify you.
- And of course we would love for you to link-love back to the interview post from your website.
NOTE: We also offer to publish articles you might want to submit covering writing, publishing, self-publishing and book promotion. The article information page is http://www.bookcoverdesigner.com/blog/article-submissions. We will consider articles from all sources relating to publishing including authors, editors, publicists, lawyers, agents, publishers, printers, etc. We understand it’s not always possible to receive an original, unpublished article so we are open to reviewing previously published articles based on content relatedness.

I hope this will be a fun experience for you. I’d like to thank you in advance for your time and best success to you.
Remember, do something every day toward your book, web-presence, product, service and promotion.
