Book Cover Design Options
Option One : $650: (Paperback) Design of front cover, spine and backcover, a detailed creative discussion whether you already have an idea or not. Together we go over the possibilities and I offer suggestions that extend and enhance, allowing us to create a dynamic book cover.This options also offers a 15 minutes of consultation on subjects other than the book cover /and/ a 3D image of the cover.
Option One Also includes: 2 layouts, 2 proofs, 2 flat images for display purposes of your cover, FREE barcode from your ISBN, pdf print ready files, allow 7 - 10 weekDAYS for this option. Client supplies pre-edited and proofed text, ISBN, and one hi-res digital image. I also can create a series look for your books and products.Hardcover Dustjacket: add $150 and if you want both Paperback and Hardcover dustjacket done at the same time add $300.
Allows the addition of 'a-la-carte' services that add depth to your cover when using more than one image, adding 3D image and photo-retouching and montague.

Option Two : $1,895: We discuss the concept of your book in detail and from that discussion I come up with a creative direction and then research images (20-80 that you choose from) and we discuss before your approval of the images we will use. Once the 1-4 images are chosen (using images from istockphoto.com) I purchase them and spend time joining them together with retouching and montague to create the final image for your book cover that best represents your message. Once you choose the concept design you like from the 2-4 selections, I create the final file for your approval.
Option Two Also includes: 2-4 layout designs, 2 proofs, 3D and flat images of cover, FREE barcode from your ISBN, 30 minutes of consultation on subjects other than the book cover and a print ready pdf file for the printer, allow 2+ weeks turnaround, Client supplies pre-edited and proofed text for cover and backcover and ISBN. (NOTE: add $1,500 if you want me to read the manuscript and become completely submerged and do extended research into your niche and industry.)

eBook (using your existing book files being converted to pdf eBook format not converted to reader formatts)
With the internet being the way it is today and book sales being made around the world, being able to offer a pdf download of your book for sale is one of the newest marketing tips. This will make it easier to be on Amazon and your website for extended sales opportunities.
eBook - $200 Create locked and unlocked pdf file using existing cover and interior files made for printed book. The final pdf file is not yet made to be read in the readers, this option is for a pdf that can then be converted for readers. Note: each reader (ie: SONY, KINDLE, MOBI, etc) has individual specifics to make a pdf convert to their use. I don't do that. I take the files that were created for the printed book and convert them into a locked and unlocked pdf file for your download use from your website. If you want to have your book separated out into one file for each chapter, this is priced by length of time to create the separate files per your direction. Project/product/business marketing and promotion consulting is an additional charge. Check out my consulting here Price is for having it done at the same time that I've created your book. One layout, two proofs. Banner for letterhead $350 2 x 8 horizontal, using final book image ready to place in Word file for media kit and press releases information pages. *NOTE: Postcard, bookmark, one sheet bio, and flyer are supplied as digital files realy to send to printers such as psprint.com or printrunner.com or a printer of your choice. One layout, two proofs. Any additional Photoshop work to any images etc. is an additional price. Subtract $50 from above pricing if work being done at same time as book cover. |
