> Paperback Cover Design: $695 Cover/Back/Spine; includes a colabortive detailed conversation and creative discussion of concept whether you already have an idea or not (1-2 hours). Together we'll discuss creative possibilities, I'll offer suggestions that will extend and enhance your unique design direction, allowing us to create a dynamic and distinctive cover and title for your book.
Also includes: 2 layouts, 2 proofs, 2 flat and 3D image files for display purposes of your cover the flat one can be used for an ebook, FREE barcode made from your ISBN, pdf print ready files, at the end you own the rights to all work done, allow 1 1/2 - 2 weeks for this option.

> Client supplies pre-edited and proofed text, ISBN, and one hi-res digital photo or specific realistic illustration image file. A big part of the creative conversation is the two of us going to the photo site where I walk you through the concept possibilities and how to find the perfect image for your book. I'll spend time with you discussing how to use keywords and process for your search.

I offer you an "alternative option" below, just in case looking for the images is not something you feel comfortable doing. A description of the research and blending services can be found in the a-la-carte box when you scroll further down.

Hard-cover Dustjacket or case laminate : add $250 to the above pricing.

Both a Paperback and Hardcover dustjacket $1,250 for the two of them, when done at the same time; includes the above and one 3D cover image.

Front Cover for eBook: $550 for design of front cover, 2 flat and 3D and images, (same features as the above paperback, without the spine, backcover and barcode) please Contact me with any questions.

If your project needs an illustration: I do what is called photo-montague/blending, manipulation, which is a combining of photo images to create the illustration for the cover. On my portfolio page on some covers I mention how many photographs were used to create the image seen. (if the photos can be found I can create the image, what I don't do is hand drawn specific illustrations) Pricing is based on time and services to be used and is mentioned below in the a-la-carte list of add-on services.

> Alternative Option for Authors who want me to do all the research with added photoshop enhancement: (paperback or hardcover) $ TBD will include the above option items plus to be discussed photo-research done by me, photoshop blending, manipulaton and color selection. For legal purposes the client still purchases the images from istockphoto ($12 to $50 each) once the final concept is decided upon. At the end of the project, upon payment received, client is sent a hi-res pdf file for the printer; and all the source files used to make the cover, and will own the rights to the cover that is designed. All work is considered work-for-hire.

These are services that will add depth to the above cover design option. if you want to use more than one image; want an additional 3D image if you are getting both paperback and hardcover; and photo search, retouching and montage OR create a series look and branding for your books and products.

pdf eBook version (using your existing book files being converted to pdf eBook format that can be eventually converted to reader formatts)

With the internet being the way it is today and book sales being made around the world, being able to offer a pdf download of your book for sale is one of the newest marketing tips. This will make it easier to be on Amazon and your website for extended sales opportunities.

eBook - $150 Create locked and unlocked pdf file using existing cover and interior files made for printed book. The final pdf file can then be converted for readers.

NOTE: each reader (ie: SONY, KINDLE, MOBI, etc) has individual specifics to make a pdf convert to their use.
AND
as far as setting up for ePub...(there is a difference) I don't do that YET, I'm still researching all the how-to's. Right now I can take the files that were created for the printed book and convert them into a locked and unlocked pdf file for your download use from your website.

Above price is for creating a master pdf file of our book, using existing book files, into pdf eBook form for mailing or selling off your site. This works well for out-of-country sales and for people who don't mind reading a book off the computer.

If you want to have your book separated out into one file for each chapter, this is priced by length of time to create the separate files per your direction. Project/product/business marketing and promotion consulting is an additional charge. Check out my consulting here

Price is for having it done at the same time that I've created your book. Price will vary if I'm not the one who created your book and if your interior was not created in QuarkXpress.
