Amazon had an Anniversary July 15th its been 20 years!!

I know… 20 years! Strange to think that in just that short amount of time all the changes that have happened. Good and Not so good on many levels. I know it changed the way I purchase, and do business.

They hit many markets: bookselling, one-click-purchasing, amazon prime, kindle/ebook creation and sales, publishing with create space, drones and robots still in the works, trunk delivery, dash, and prime day this month.

I receive many different emails concerning services and suppliers for self publishing authors and companies. I don’t usually respond but this one is about a subject that has come up for several of my clients in the past so I figured it would be good information for all.

I also know that in some areas, local charities, Salvation Army, and Goodwill, etc. also offer different services for product assembly and fulfillment…so check locally as well.

Please remember to do your own research on companies that offer any services. My posting of this information is just that, information. Please personally verify them for quality. This is not a recommendation, it is letting you know they exist.

Remember, keep doing something every day toward your book and promotion.

Did you know there are "Delivery Charges" for ebooks… What??

As we move along into a world of digital ebooks, there appear new items to keep informed about… PC Pro published an interesting article about “delivery” charges when selling an ebook Kindle version.

The main ingredient to be watchful of is how many images you add to your file. You see, images take up more space, and to get good quality images they need to be sharp, and to be sharp it helps if they are a little larger file size than 72dpi.
